Shri Inam UI Haq Mengnoo IPS (Assam-Meghalaya 2012) has been given Inter Cadre transfer from Assam-Meghalaya to Bihar on the grounds of his marriage with Ms. Inayat Khan IAS (Bihar 2012), powers conferred under Sub-Rule (2) of Rule 5 of Indian Police Service (Cadre) Rules-1954, and with the concurrence of the Governments of Assam, Meghalaya and Bihar, the Central Government.
