Maharashtra: In the backdrop of 21 cases of Covid-19 Delta Plus variants found in Maharashtra, revised lockdown guidelines are imposed in the state form today. Under the new guidelines, malls and theatres shall remain closed. Mumbai local services are allowed for essential services employees. Govt. offices will operate with 50 percent capacity while private offices can operate till 4 PM. Section 144 is applicable in all places banning gathering of five or more persons.Maharashtra on Sunday reported 9,974 fresh coronavirus positive cases and 143 fatalities, taking the tally of infections to 60,36,821 and the toll to 1,21,286. A total of 8,562 patients were discharged during the day, taking the count of recoveries in Maharashtra to 57,90,113 so far, leaving the state with 1,22,252 active cases. Mumbai reported 739 fresh cases and 13 deaths, raising the cumulative caseload to 7,20,349 and the number of the COVID-19 deceased to 15,396.

Gujarat: The COVID-19 tally in Gujarat rose by 112 on Sunday to reach 8,23,244, while the toll increased by three and the recovery count by 305. The state has so far seen 10,051 deaths and 8,09,506 people have been discharged post recovery, which is 98.33 per cent of the caseload, leaving it with 3,687 active cases, including 21 critical ones.2,40,985 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on Sunday, including 1,48,818 in the 18-44 segment, taking the overall number of doses administered in Gujarat to 2,48,79,127.

Rajasthan: Rajasthan has been witnessing a significant drop in new and active Covid-19 cases in the state. On Sunday, 12 out of 33 districts in the state registered zero new active Covid cases. Some of these districts include Pratapgarh, Jaisalmer, Jalore and Bharatpur.Rajasthan reported 162 COVID-19 cases and four fatalities on Sunday, taking the state’s infection tally to 9,52,129 and the death toll to 8,914. Alwar reported the highest number of 63 new cases of the infection, while Jaipur and Sriganganagar saw 20 cases each.A total of 9,41,482 patients have recovered from the disease so far, and the number of active cases at present is 1,733

Madhya Pradesh: New cases of corona infections are continuously decreasing in Madhya Pradesh. Total 39 new cases were reported in 52 districts of the state yesterday. Madhya Pradesh on Sunday recorded only 39 fresh COVID-19 cases and 21 fatalities, taking the tally to 7,89,696 and the toll to 8,917. Of the total 52 districts in MP, 37 districts did not record a single new case in the last 24 hours. The state has 816 active cases. At the same time, six districts- Sidhi, Dewas, Jhabua, Mandla, Khandwa and Burhanpur have become completely free from corona infection. Meanwhile, the state government has ended the Sunday lockdown, although the night curfew will continue.

Chhattisgarh: Chhattisgarh on Sunday reported 244 fresh coronavirus positive cases and four deaths, taking the infection count to 9,93,289 and the toll to 13,431. The count of recoveries reached 9,73,262 after 29 people were discharged from hospitals and 335 completed their home isolation stay during the day, leaving Chhattisgarh with 6,596 active cases.

Goa: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 215 on Sunday to reach 1,66,098, while the death of seven patients took its fatality count to 3,039. A total of 301 patients recuperated from the infection during the day, which pushed the state’s recovery count to 1,60,548. There are 2,511 active COVID-19 cases in the coastal state at present.Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said his government was ready to tackle a possible third wave of the coronavirus infection with a committee of experts and required infrastructure in place. A paediatric intensive care unit and a neonatal intensive care unit have already been established with trained staff, while the task force headed by him was ready to purchase equipment as and when required.

KERALA: The State Health department today issued an order to vaccinate all people agedabove18 years without any priorities. The new decision was taken according to the newvaccine policy of the central government. Meanwhile, amidst protests in view of the persistent Covid-19 threat, theUniversities in Kerala today went ahead with the conduct of examinations of various courses atvarious colleges. The State recorded 10,905 new Covid cases yesterday. With 62 new fatalities,the death toll mounted to 12,879. Test positivity rate was recorded at 10.49 %. A total of1,36,62,000 people have so far been vaccinated in the state. Out of this, 1,06,00,174 took firstdose and 30,61,826 second dose.

TAMIL NADU:Additional lockdown relaxations announced by TN government come into effectfrom today. Textile and Jewellery shops to be opened in 23 districts from today. Temples andother places of worship opened today in four districts, including Chennai. Health Secretary JRadhakrishnan has asked the District Collectors to step up the vaccination drive on a war footingto the contacts of those who had tested positive for Delta Plus variant. Tamil Nadu recorded5,127 new cases and 91 deaths on Sunday, taking the total number of cases to 24,65,874 anddeath toll to 32,290 leaving 42,801 active cases. A total of 1,50,23,073 people have so far beenvaccinated in TN. Out of this, 1,25,36,293 took first dose and 24,86,780 took second dose.Similarly, in Puducherry UT, a total of 4,81,872 people have so far been vaccinated. Out of this,4,18,646 took their first dose and 63,226 took their second dose.

KARNATAKA:As per the State Government bulletin released for 27-06-2021, New CasesReported: 3,604; Total Active Cases: 1,01,042; New Covid Deaths: 89; Total Covid Deaths:

34,743;Around 1,00,036 were vaccinated yesterday with a total of 2,17,25,763 have been vaccinated inthe state till now.The number of daily Covid-19 cases in Bengaluru has seen a dramatic 97% decline since thesecond wave peaked in April. But, the number of ICU cases has been less quick to fall, datashows.The government is likely to take a decision about reopening schools for physical classes onMonday.

ANDHRA PRADESH: State reported 4,250 new Covid-19 cases after testing 95,327 samples with33 deaths, while 5,570 got discharged during the last 24 hours. Total cases: 1879872; Activecases: 44773; Discharges: 1822500; Deaths: 12599. A total of 1,48,68,807 doses of Covidvaccines have been administered in the state as on yesterday, which include 1,19,58,636 firstdoses and 29,10,171 second doses.The Andhra Pradesh government on Monday extended the curfew relaxation from July 1 forthree more hours in eight of the 13 districts where the Covid positivity rate has come downbelow five percent.

TELANGANA: A total of 748 new daily cases and eight fatalities were reported yesterday takingthe total number of cases in the state to 6,20,613 and deaths to 3,635. The number of ActiveCases in the state now stands at 14,302. The recovery rate is reported to be 97.10 percentagainst the national average of 96.72 percent. Special vaccination drive to inoculate teachingand not teaching staff of Government and private educational institutions is going on in thestate. As many as 30 Mobile Vaccination Vans have been deployed in the state to inoculatestreet vendors and the people residing in slums. Coming to vaccination figures, a total of 97,239people of all categories received first dose and 8,986 second dose yesterday in the state. Thecumulative number of people received first dose in the state stands at 89,45,119 and seconddose at 14,85,426.The vaccine wastage in the state is reported to be 0.11 percent.

Punjab: As on 27th June, 2021,the total number of patients who had tested Positive are 594883. Number of active casesis 4020. Total Deaths reported are 15991. Total COVID-19 Vaccinated with 1st dose(Healthcare + Frontline Workers) are 1310437. Total COVID-19 Vaccinated with 2nddose (Healthcare + Frontline Workers) are 334916. Total above 45 Vaccinated with 1st dose is 3399067. Total above 45 Vaccinated with 2nd dose is 607316.

Haryana: As on 27th June, 2021,total Number of Samples found positive till date is 768378. Total active COVID-19 patients are 1685. Number of deaths are 9385. Cumulative number of peoplevaccinated till date is 8470513.

Chandigarh: As on 27th June, 2021, total Lab confirmed COVID-19 cases are 61624. Total number of ActiveCases are 203. Total number of COVID-19 deaths till date are 807.

Himachal Pradesh: As on 27th June, 2021,total number of patients tested Covid positive till date are 201665.Total number of Active Cases are 1754. Total deaths reported till date are 3457.

Assam: A total of 37 COVID-19 deaths were reported in Assam in the last 24 hours, while 1,523 new infections were detected in 55,131 tests done across the state during the day. Kamrup Metro saw 149 new cases. The death rate due to the COVID-19 in Assam is below one percent, but the death toll is 4,440 till date. The daily death toll in the state dwindles between 30 and 40 now.

Manipur: Manipur hits highest daily positivity rate of 12.9 percentage since Jun 22, 669 test positive, 16 more deaths recorded.In Manipur 5,31,004 individuals have been vaccinated against COVID-19 out of which 83,139 have got their second doses.

Meghalaya: The Health Department will be sending another 75 samples for genome sequencing on June 30. Principal Secretary, Health, Sampath Kumar on Sunday said none of the 200 swab samples sent earlier were of the Delta Plus variant.The genome sequencing report received by the state government had revealed the presence of the highly infectious Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2 in Meghalaya resulting in a higher rate of hospitalisation in the state. After a brief lull, the number of recoveries in the State exceeded the number of fresh cases on Sunday. 570 patients recovered from infection in the past 24 hours as against 462 fresh cases. Two people died from the infection on Sunday taking the death toll to 819.The total active cases now stand at 4,558 while the number of patients who have recovered from the infection so far has gone up to 43,070.

Nagaland: Nagaland reports 111 new COVID-19 cases and nil deaths on Sunday. Active cases are 1523 while tally reaches 24,961.India logs 50,040 new cases of COVID-19 and 1258 fatalities on Sunday. Actives cases stand at 5,86,403 while total positive cases are 3,02,33,183.Online registration for COVID vaccination done in urban areas to avoid crowding at vaccination sites. Rural areas exempted because of internet issues and for people who cannot own or handle smart phones, says State Immunisation Officer Dr RituThurr.

Sikkim: Out of 817 samples tested,Sikkim recorded 170 new Covid positive cases on Sunday.There was no death. Of the new cases, 65 were in the EastDistrict, 55 in West and 50 in South.The total number ofactive cases now is 2,137, with 203 recoveries.
