NLC India organized Two day National Seminar on Human Resources at Learning & Development Center, Neyveli from 23.03.2018 to 24.03.2018. On its valedictory day end on 24.03.2018, Chief Guest, Shri Satyananda Misra, the former Chief Information Commissioner of Central Information Commission said “Modern Human Resources is that the Management of the organization should take steps, which should pave way for every employee work with more transparency and dedication after knowing the target, which must be made available to everyone” .
Sri Satyananda Misra, former Chief Information Commissioner, CIC, said, after introduction of Right to Information Act, all works are done, in a transparent manner. By allowing general public for self attestation of certificates, simple procedures on all Government works, application forms with minimum statutory informations etc., are few of the steps taken by Government on transparency in administration. Besides, paper-less exchange of information, e-tender have also brought transparency among employees and general public. Also the Chief Guest, pointed out, when the management takes important decision, the ideas of the employees should be considered as more significant and provide them with all information, which would pave way for the employees to work with more dedication.
Dr. Sarat Kumar Acharya, CMD/NLC India, said on his presidential address, that welfare of the employees and organization, depend on each other. When employees work towards organization’s development, growth of employees would be fair. He thanked everyone, who applauded the organization.
Sri R.K. Misra, Director, Institute of Public Enterprises, Hyderabad, Guest of Honour, congratulated the CMD of NLCIL, Director (HR) and employees, who made the Seminar, a grand success. On this valedictory function, Shri N. Sadish Babu, CGM/HR/NLCIL welcomed the gathering and Sri J. Stephen Dominic, GM/HR delivered vote of thanks.
On this occasion, a pamphlet on NLCIL in Tamil “Valamaimigu baarathaththinai uruvaakkida vazhikaattum perumaimigu niruvanam” was released by Sri Sathyananda Misra and the first copy was received by Dr.S.K. Acharya, CMD/NLCIL. Functional Directors, Sri Rakesh Kumar, Sri V. Thangapandian, Sri R. Vikraman felicitated in the function. Senior Officials, employees, officers from outside organization, students participated in the function.
