16 Joint Secretary Appointments – Indian Bureaucracy Exclusive | The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet(ACC) has approved the appointment of 16 Bureaucrats at Joint Secretary/Joint Secretary equivalent level with immediate effect , the full list of names are :
- Ms. Varsha Joshi IAS (AGMUT 1995) appointed Joint Secretary- Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
- Shri Anupam Mishra IES (1995) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Consumer Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years .
- Shri Keshav Chandra IAS (AGMUT 1995) appointed as Director- Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), Ministry of Corporate Affairs from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 17.12.2022 .
- Shri Rakesh Mittal IDES (1995) appointed Joint Secretary- Department of Defence, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years .
- Shri Sajjan S Yadav IAS (AGMUT 1995) presently Joint Secretary- Ministry of Women & Child Development appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Expenditure, on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 19.08.2024.
- Ms. Pallavi Agarwal IRS ( IT 1991) appointed as Joint Secretary- Ministry of Women & Child Development, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years .
- Ms. Aparna S Sharma CSS appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Fertilizers, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years .
- Shri Amit Mehta IOFS (1987) presently Joint Secretary-Department of Consumer Affairs en appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Heavy Industry, on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 07.01.2023 .
- Shri Saurav Ray IDES (1994) appointed as Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI) (JS level) 0/0 CEPI, New Delhi, Ministry of Home Affairs, for a tenure of five years, whichever is earlier by upgrading the post from DS/Director level to JS level, initially for two years, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post.
- Ms. Parama Sen IA&AS (1994) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Investment & Public Asset Management from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years .
- Shri Sudhir Kumar IAS (AGMUT 1999) appointed as Additional Secretary- Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years upto 16.03.2022.
- Ms. P Amudha IAS (Tamil Nadu 1994), presently Professor- LBSNAA, Mussoorie appointed as Joint Secretary- Prime Minister’s Office, on lateral shift basis, for the balance period of her five-year central deputation period .
- Ms. Nidhi Pandey IInfoS (1991) appointed as Commissioner- Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Department of School Education & Literacy, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years .
- Shri Vinayak Garg IRSEE (1995) appointed as Commissioner- Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Department of School Education & Literacy, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years upto 11.09.2023 .
- Shri Nitishwar Kumar IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1996) presenty Joint Secretary- Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation appointed as Member Secretary- National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Department of School Education & Literacy, on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years upto 10.07.2021 .
- Shri Sanjay Awasthi IRS (IT1989) appointed as Joint Secretary- Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 22.05.2021 .
