Two IAS Trainees posted as Asst Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation

IndianBureaucracy, New Delhi – Two members of the 2022 Batch of IAS Officer Trainees have recently been assigned as Assistant Secretaries with the Ministry of Civil Aviation at the central level.

After successfully completing their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, these Officer Trainees are designated as Assistant Secretaries across various Central Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

The Trainee Officers are:

  1. Donthula Zenith Chandra IAS (Maharashtra 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech and recently concluded his District training as Supernumerary Assistant Collector – Satara, Maharashtra.
  2. Shinde Omkar Rajendra IAS (Gujrat 2022), holds a degree in B.Sc. Agriculture and recently concluded his District training as Supernumerary Assistant Collector – Navsari, Gujrat.

Starting from May 20, 2024, till July 12, 2024, for a period of eight weeks, the Officer Trainees will be actively participating in the day-to-day operations in their assigned duties. This period marks a critical step in their careers, offering firsthand experience in governance and policy implementation at the highest levels of the Indian bureaucracy.
