Two IAS Trainees posted as Asst Secretary in the Department of Fisheries

IndianBureaucracy, New Delhi – Two 2022 Batch of IAS Officer Trainees have recently been assigned as Assistant Secretaries in the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India.

After successfully completing their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, these Officer Trainees are designated as Assistant Secretaries across various Central Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

The Trainee Officers are:

  1. Gaddam Sudheer Kumar Reddy IAS (West Bengal 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech. and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Magistrate & Assistant Collector – Hoogly, WB.
  2. Gaurav Kumar IAS (Bihar 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Collector – Purnea, Bihar.

Starting from May 20, 2024, till July 12, 2024, for a period of eight weeks, the Officer Trainees will be actively participating in the day-to-day operations in their assigned duties. This period marks a critical step in their careers, offering firsthand experience in governance and policy implementation at the highest levels of the Indian bureaucracy.
