Three IAS Trainees posted as Asst Secretary in the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance

IndianBureaucracy, New Delhi – Three 2022 Batch of IAS Officer Trainees have recently been assigned as Assistant Secretaries in the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

After successfully completing their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, these Officer Trainees are designated as Assistant Secretaries across various Central Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

The Trainee Officers are:

  1. Ajit Kumar IAS (Nagaland 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech.  and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Commissioner (P) – Mokokchung, Nagaland.
  2. Ashish IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Collector – Seoni, M.P.
  3. Priyamvada Ashok Mhaddalkar IAS (Maharashtra 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech and P.G. Diploma and recently concluded his District training as Supernumerary Assistant Collector – Dharashiv, Maharashtra.

Starting from May 20, 2024, till July 12, 2024, for a period of eight weeks, the Officer Trainees will be actively participating in the day-to-day operations in their assigned duties. This period marks a critical step in their careers, offering firsthand experience in governance and policy implementation at the highest levels of the Indian bureaucracy.
