Shri Surendra Kumar IPS (Assam-Meghalaya 1998) presently IGP (CID), Assam , has been transferred and posted as the post of IG, Modernisation, Planning & Coordination. Kumar also gets the additional charge of IG, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption.
