Major reshuffle in Tamil Nadu – 15 IPS transferred | In a major rejig , the Tamil Nadu Govt has shifted 15 IPS Officers across the state with immediate effect, the names of the officers are :
- Shri Pradeep V Philip IPS ( 1987) presently DGP – Crime Branch CID, Chennai transferred as the Director – Tamil Nadu Police Academy.
- Shri K Jayanth Murali IPS ( 1991) presently ADGP / Director- Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Chennai transferred as ADGP- Armed Police Unit in Chennai.
- Shri Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal IPS ( 1994) presently ADGP/ Commissioner of Police- Greater Chennai transferred as as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Crime in Chennai.
- Shri R Dhinakaran IPS ( 1998) presently Inspector General of Police (IGP)/ACP -Law and Order,
South, Greater Chennai transferred as IGP- Economic Offences Wing(EOW) of the CID Unit. - Shri Abhash Kumar IPS ( 1990) presently ADGP- Economic Offences Wing, Chennai transferred as ADGP- Economics Offences Wing(EOW) of the CID, Chennai .
- Shri H M Jayaram IPS ( 1996) presently IGP -Central Zone, Tiruchirappalli transferred as IGP- Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB), Chennai.
- Shri J Loganathan IPS ( 2002) presently IGP/Commissioner of Police- Thiruchirappalli City transferred as IGP- Armed Forces Unit, Chennai.
- Shri S Rajendran IPS ( 2006) presently Deputy Inspector General of Police(DIGP)- Madurai Range, Tamil Nadu transferred as DIGP-Technical Services .
- Shri Pa Moorthy IPS ( 2010) presently Superintendent of Police (SP) – STF, Satyamangalam, Erode transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP)- Crime and Traffic in Salem City, Tamil Nadu.
- Shri P Saravanan IPS ( 2012) presently SP- Special Branch CID, Chennai transferred as AIG- Administration , PHQ.
- Shri S Senthil Kumar IPS ( 2001) presently SP- Chittor, Tamil Nadu transferred as SP- Crime Against Women and Children, Chennai.
- Shri S Maheswaran IPS ( 2012) presently DCP- Flower Bazaar, Greater Chennai Police transferred as SP- Enforcement Unit in Madurai, Tamil Nadu .
- Shri Ara Arularasuis IPS ( 2012) presently SP- Coimbatore District transferred as Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG)- Law and Order in the DGP office.
- Shri C Raja IPS appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP)- Commercial Crimes Investigation Wing (CCIW), Tamil Nadu Police.
- Shri T Senthil Kumar IPS ( 2001) presently IGP/COP- Salem City transferred as Principal- Police Training Recruit School, Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu.
