Six IAS Trainees posted as Asst Secretary in the Ministry of Women & Child Development

IndianBureaucracy, New Delhi – Six 2022 Batch of IAS Officer Trainees have recently been assigned as Assistant Secretaries in the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India.

After successfully completing their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, these Officer Trainees are designated as Assistant Secretaries across various Central Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

The Trainee Officers are:

  1. Dr Anshu Priya IAS (Rajasthan 2022), holds a degree in M.B.B.S. and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Collector – Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
  2. Gamini Singla IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2022), holds a degree in B. Tech. and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Collector – Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
  3. Mehak Jain IAS (Gujarat 2022), holds a degree in B.Com. and M.A.(Public Admn) and recently concluded her District training as Supernumerary Assistant Collector – Mahisagar, Gujarat.
  4. Rahul IAS (Haryana 2022), holds a degree in M.Sc.(Agri.). and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Commissioner – Nuh, Haryana.
  5. Surbhi Singla IAS (West Bengal 2022), holds a degree in B. Tech. and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Magistrate & Assistant Collector  – Purulia, West Bengal.
  6. Swathi Sree T IAS (Tamil Nadu 2022), holds a degree in B.Sc.(Agri.) and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Collector – Salem , Tamil Nadu.

Starting from May 20, 2024, till July 12, 2024, for a period of eight weeks, the Officer Trainees will be actively participating in the day-to-day operations in their assigned duties. This period marks a critical step in their careers, offering first hand experience in governance and policy implementation at the highest levels of the Indian bureaucracy.
