Shri Shivam Pratap Singh IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2017), presently Director, Personnel & Finance, H P Power Corporation Ltd., Shimla, is transferred and appointed as CEO – HP State Rural Livelihood Mission, Shimla.

Shri Singh, a dedicated officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), has been serving in various important capacities since his induction. He has held the position of Director (Personnel) at HPPCL since July 2023, contributing to the HR and financial management of the state’s power sector.

Previously, he has also served in the Junior Scale at the state cadre level in Shimla, beginning his career in the Himachal Pradesh administration in May 2018. His background reflects a strong grounding in public sector management, energy policy, and personnel administration.

With his appointment as CEO of the State Rural Livelihood Mission, Shri Singh is expected to lead critical initiatives aimed at improving rural employment, women’s empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods across Himachal Pradesh. His leadership is anticipated to bring strategic insight and robust implementation to the Mission’s grassroots programs.

This move is part of a larger administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening rural development frameworks and enhancing the efficiency of public welfare delivery in the state.
