Seven IAS Trainees posted as Asst Secretary in MoHUA

IndianBureaucracy, New Delhi – Seven 2022 Batch of IAS Officer Trainees have recently been assigned as Assistant Secretaries in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India.

After successfully completing their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, these Officer Trainees are designated as Assistant Secretaries across various Central Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

The Trainee Officers are:

  1. Anendya Raajsshre IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2022), holds a degree in B.E. and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Commissioner – East Khasi Hills District, Shillong, Meghalaya.
  2. Anjali Shrotriya IAS (Haryana 2022), holds a degree in and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Collector – Rohtak, Haryana.
  3. Arjit Mahajan IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech in Production Engg. (Indl Engg.) and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Commissioner – Lakhimpur, Assam.
  4. Arpit Sangal IAS (Haryana 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech. and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Collector – Hisar, Haryana.
  5. C Yaswanthkumar Reddy IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2022), holds a degree in B. Tech. and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Collector – East Distt Collectorate, Andhra Pradesh.
  6. Pooja Sahu IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech. and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Collector – Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh.
  7. Shruti Sharma IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2022), holds a degree in B.A. and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Collector – Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

Starting from May 20, 2024, till July 12, 2024, for a period of eight weeks, the Officer Trainees will be actively participating in the day-to-day operations in their assigned duties. This period marks a critical step in their careers, offering firsthand experience in governance and policy implementation at the highest levels of the Indian bureaucracy.
