Shri Saurabh Garg IAS (Odisha 1991) presently Secretary- Department of Social Justice & Empowerment has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation from the date of assumption of the charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. 31.07.2024 and thereafter on contract basis for a period of one year beyond the date of superannuation with additional charge as Secretary – National Statistical Commission.
