Shri S Murali Krishnan IDAS (2005) presently CVO- Chennai Port Authority (ChPA),
Chennai has been given extension of additional charge of the post of CVO- V. 0. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VoCPA), Thoothukudi for a period of 6 (six) months beyond 15.10.2024 upto 15.04.2025 .

Shri S Murali Krishnan, an accomplished officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service has established himself as a dynamic and principled leader in public service. Since commencing his career on November 29, 2006, he has brought to the table an unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and efficiency in governance.

Currently serving as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Chennai Port Authority (ChPA), Shri Krishnan has been at the forefront of driving systemic reforms and fostering a culture of integrity in one of India’s most vital maritime institutions. His initial appointment in April 2021 was a testament to his credibility and competence, and his impactful leadership has led to his tenure being extended multiple times — now continuing until April 15, 2025.

In recognition of his sterling performance, he has also been entrusted with the additional charge of CVO at V. O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VoCPA), Thoothukudi, further solidifying his reputation as a trusted guardian of good governance in the port sector.
