(12.02.2025), the state placed services of Shri Rajesh Nirwan IPS (Rajasthan 1992), under the Government of India for his appointment as Director General (DG) of the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), marking his transfer as central deputation.
Shri Nirwan, is currently serving as the Director General and Commandant General, Home Guards, Rajasthan, Jaipur.
The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) is an agency under the Ministry of Civil Aviation that establishes and enforces security standards to protect civil aviation in India. It plays a crucial role in safeguarding against threats, such as terrorism, by setting rigorous security protocols, conducting inspections, and training personnel.
