The President of India has appointed 8 Governors across the states of Goa, Tripura, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Haryana, Mizoram , Madhya Pradesh & Himachal Pradesh, the names of the Governors are :
I. Shri P S Sreedharan Pillai currently Governor of Mizoram is now appointed as Governor of Goa.
II. Shri Satyadev Narayan Arya currently Governor of Haryana is now appointed as Governor of Tripura.
III. Shri Ramesh Bais currently Governor of Tripura is now appointed as Governor of Jharkhand.
IV. Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot is appointed as Governor of Karnataka.
V. Shri Bandaru Dattatraya currently Governor of Himachal Pradesh is now appointed as Governor of Haryana.
VI. Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati is appointed as Governor of Mizoram.
VII. Shri Mangubhai Chhaganbhai Patel is appointed as Governor of Madhya Pradesh.
VIII. Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar is appointed as Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
The above appointments will take effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices.
