Shri Piyush Singh IAS (Maharashtra 2000) has been appointed as Director in Department of Health & Family Welfare, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years.
Shri Singh, a B.Tech. graduate, worked in rural areas like Nandurbar, Thane and parts of Beed districts in his early postings, and is aware of the pulse of rural Maharashtra. Vishnudas Sheshrao caught up with him recently in the city, to talk about its shortfalls and how the scheme can be implemented properly.
