The 3rd International Yoga Day celebrations were organized in a grand manner at Neyveli Industrial complex on 21.06.17.To mark this day, a mass yoga programme was organized at Bharathi Stadium, wherein 1000 school children performed various asanaas.
On this occasion, functional directors of NLC India Ltd., Shri Rakesh Kumar, Shri Subir Das, Shri Selvakumar, Shri Vikraman; Smt. Yogamaya Acharya, First lady of NLCIL family, Smt. Kanchan Kamra & Smt. Sudeshna Das and other senior officers participated in the function and performed various asanas.
Shri Rakesh Kumar, Director/Finance, who was the Chief Guest of this function said that Yoga mends everyone and keeps everyone healthy.
Shri R. Mohan, CGM/CSR, welcomed the gathering. To mark this occasion, NLCIL is organizing Yoga classes for all for two weeks.
International Yoga Day celebrations were carried out at Regional offices, Subsidiary companies like NTPL, NUPPL and at NLCIL’s Project at Barsingsar.
