19 IPS transfers in Assam Police – Indian Bureaucracy Exclusive | The Himanta Biswa Govt has shifted 19 IPS Officers across the state with immediate effect, the names of the officers are :

1. Shri Kangkan Jyoti Saikia IPS (2008) presently Superintendent of Police0 South Salmara  transferred to Assam Police Headquarters.
2. Smt Amanjeet Kaur IPS (2009) presently Superintendent of Police- Nalbari  transferred as Assistant Inspector General of Police- (Administration).
3. Shri Nimbalkar Vaibhav Chandrakant IPS (2009) presently Superintendent of Police- Tinsukia  transferred as Superintendent of Police- Cachar.
4. Shri  Shiladitya Chetia IPS (Assam 2009) presently  attached to Police Headquarters now transferred as Superintendent of Police- Sonitpur.
5. Shri Rakesh Raushan IPS (Assam 2010) presently Superintendent of Police- Kokrajhar  transferred as Superintendent of Police- Sivasagar.
6. Shri Anand Mishra IPS (Assam 2011) presently Superintendent of Police, Dhubri transferred as Superintendent of Police- Nagaon.
7. Shri Ankur Jain IPS (Assam 2011) presently Commandant, 10^th A.P. Bn, Kahilipara  transferred as Superintendent of Police- Jorhat.
8. Shri Gaurav Upadhyay IPS (Assam 2012) presently Assistant Inspector General of Police (Law & Order)- Guwahati transferred as Superintendent of Police- Chirang.
9. Shri Thube Prateek Vijaykumar IPS (Assam 2013) presently Superintendent of Police- Dibrugarh transferred as Superintendent of Police- Kokrajhar.
10. Ms Ramandeep Kaur IPS (Assam 2013) presently Superintendent of Police- Hamren transferred as Superintendent of Police- Hailakandi.
11. Dr Robin Kumar IPS (Assam 2013) presently Superintendent of Police- Barpeta transferred as Superintendent of Police- Golaghat.

18. Shri Subrajyoti Bora IPS (Assam 2016) presently Commandant- 7^th A.P. Bn, Charaikhola, Kokrajhar transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police (East)- Guwahati.
19. Shri Mohan Lal Meena IPS (Assam 2016) presently Commandant-  3^rd A.P.T.F.Bn, Khajuabeel, Udalguri transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime)- Guwahati.
