Shikshana Karnataka, Bengaluru, given concurrent charge of Director – Public Instruction, Mid-Day Meal, Bengaluru, Karnataka, relieving Shri Sadashiv Prabhu B IAS from concurrent charge.
The Department of Public Instruction in Karnataka is in charge of education for schools in the state, which includes both primary and secondary levels. One of the key task they handle is the Mid-Day Meal Scheme, now called PM Poshan Shakti Nirman. This program provides free meals to children in government and government-aided schools.
