In a significant development towards fostering deep-tech innovation in India, Innogress, a research and advisory firm focused on promoting emerging technologies, has partnered with Sharda University, one of North India’s prominent research-led educational institutions, to propel advancements in Quantum-AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies. A formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between the two entities to establish a structured collaboration framework aimed at productizing and commercializing cutting-edge research in Quantum-AI and other futuristic domains.

While Innogress and Sharda University have previously engaged informally on exploring collaborative opportunities in the fields of Quantum and AI technologies, the newly formalized MoU outlines a roadmap to translate ongoing academic research into commercially viable solutions. This partnership is expected to significantly contribute to India’s strategic tech missions, including the National Quantum Mission and the IndiaAI Mission.

Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony, Prof. Sibaram Khara, Vice Chancellor of Sharda University, emphasized the importance of increased academia-industry collaboration in catalyzing innovations in high-impact technologies. He highlighted the university’s commitment to aligning its research capabilities with national priorities and expressed confidence that this partnership with Innogress will accelerate the commercialization of innovative solutions.

Also present at the ceremony were Prof. Bhuvnesh Kumar, Dean of Research, and Prof. Ashok Kumar, Head of the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Imaging & Forensics. They shared insights into the advanced research being conducted at Sharda University in AI and Quantum domains. Notably, they highlighted the university’s robust AI compute infrastructure, including the latest NVIDIA H100 AI server, and the ongoing work at its AI research centers in areas such as medical healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, defense, fintech, BFSI, logistics, and supply chain.

Prof. Ashok Kumar provided the Innogress team with a tour of the AI laboratories, showcasing Sharda’s latest computing infrastructure and explaining how the university is poised to support both academic and industrial stakeholders, including Quantum-AI startups, by offering access to its resources.

On behalf of Innogress, Mr. Sumant Parimal, Founder and Director, stressed the importance of channeling research in Quantum and AI into impactful products and commercial ventures. He revealed that Innogress is working toward the large-scale productization and commercialization of research outcomes at its upcoming Gujarat-Kutch Quantum Computing Technology Park (GKQCTP), where Sharda University is expected to play a pivotal role.

Additionally, Innogress is also progressing on plans to establish the India Quantum-AI Data Center (IQDC) and the Greater Noida Robotics-AI Technology Park (GNRTP), for which Sharda University will serve as a key academic and research partner.

The MoU signing event was also attended by senior faculty members from Sharda University, including Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Sharma and Dr. Vishnu Dutt Sharma, alongside Mr. Kalyan Upadhyay from Innogress.

This partnership marks a progressive step towards building a robust ecosystem for Quantum-AI innovations, combining academic excellence with entrepreneurial ambition to unlock transformative technology solutions for the future.
