The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of 41 Indian Bureaucracy Officers at the level of Joint Secretary across various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India, at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix.
Shri Anbalagan P IAS (CG 2004) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Shri Sanjay Kumar Agarwal IAS (BH 2002) has been appointed in the same department, Shri Muthukumarasamy B IAS (UP 2007) has been appointed Joint Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying. Shri Sandeep Raj IRS (IT 1998) will now serve as Joint Secretary & FA in the Department of Atomic Energy, .
Ms. Alarmelmangai D IAS (CG 2004) has been posted as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of AYUSH. Ms. Nishtha Upadhyay IDAS (1999) will take charge as Additional CEO, GeM, under the Department of Commerce, Ms. Vrunda Manohar Desai IRS (IT 2003) becomes Additional DGFT, DGFT, Delhi, Shri Raman Kumar IAS (BH 2009) is appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation, Ms. Ishita Ganguli Tripathy ICAS (1999) has been posted as Joint Secretary & Addl. FA in the Ministry of Defence .
Ms. Manisha Chandra IAS (GJ 2004) and Ms. Meera Mohanty IAS (HP 2005) will serve as Joint Secretaries in the Department of Defence Production, Shri Vyasan R IAS (NL 2007) takes over as Joint Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Shri Bhanu Prakash Yeturu IAS (RJ 2003) has been appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner, ECI, Shri Ajit Kumar IAS (KL 2006) and Shri Amod Kumar IAS (UP 1995) are appointed in the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Ms. Sumita Singh CSS joins as Joint Secretary, , Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, on a temporarily upgraded post. Shri Chinmay Pundlikrao Gotmare IAS (AM 2009) has been appointed JS in the Department of Expenditure, while Shri More Ashish Madhaorao IAS (UT 2005) goes to the Department of Financial Services.
Shri Anshul Mishra IAS (TN 2004) is appointed Additional Director (Admin) at AIIMS Delhi, Shri Umesh Balonda IRSSE (1997) has been posted as Secretary, NCAHP, Ms. Smita Srivastava IRSEE (1997) takes charge in the Department of Higher Education, while Shri S. Rakesh Kumar IFoS (UT 2003) becomes Advisor in NDMA.
Shri Vinay Kumar Singh IRS (C&IT 1997) is posted as FA (JS level) in BSF, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Ms. Saidingpuii Chhakchhuak IAS (GJ 2008) becomes JS in NHRC, Shri Krishna Kumar Nirala IAS (GJ 2005) and Shri Ashutosh A T Pednekar IAS (RJ 2002) have been posted as JS in the Ministries of I&B and Labour & Employment respectively.
Shri Milind D. Ramteke IAS (TR 2009) joins the MSME Ministry in an upgraded JS post.
