Indian Bureaucracy, Chandigarh, May 05, 2025 | The Haryana Government is moving forward with its recently announced Department of Future, established in the 2025-26 budget to focus on future planning. The state has assigned additional responsibilities to two IAS officers to lead the new department. Smt Amneet P Kumar (2001 batch) will serve as the Commissioner & Secretary, while Dr Aditya Dahiya (2011 batch) has been appointed as the Director. Both officers will continue in their current roles in other departments alongside these new responsibilities.
- Smt Amneet P Kumar IAS (Haryana 2001), presently Commissioner & Secretary, Fisheries Department, Haryana, and, Commissioner & Secretary, Archives Department, Haryana, is given additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary – Department of Future, Haryana.
- Dr Aditya Dahiya IAS (Haryana 2011), presently Special Secretary, Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs Department, and, Director Training (Ex-Officio) and lnquiry Officer,
Vigilance, Haryana, is is given additional charge of Director – Department of Future, Haryana.
