After taking charge as Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri praised India’s success in managing energy availability, affordability, and sustainability under PM Modi. He highlighted achievements such as expanding LPG connections from 14 to 32 crores, the upcoming increase in oil and gas production, and the progress towards 20% ethanol blending by 2025. Shri Puri also emphasized the integration of green hydrogen in refineries and mentioned upcoming projects like BPCL’s Bina refinery and IOCL’s Cauvery Basin Refinery.
