Four IAS Trainees posted as Asst Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change

IndianBureaucracy, New Delhi – Four members from the 2022 Batch of IAS Officer Trainees have recently been assigned the role of Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change at the central level.

After successfully completing their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, these Officer Trainees are designated as Assistant Secretaries across various Central Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

The Trainee Officers are:

  1. Aditya Verma IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2022), holds degree in B.Tech. and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Commissioner – West Garo Hills (Meghalaya) Tura, Meghalaya.
  2. Shraddha Gome IAS (Rajasthan 2022), holds degree in B.A.L.L.B. and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Collector – Ajmer, Rajasthan.
  3. Tirumani Sri Pooja IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech. and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Collector – Eluru, Andhra Pradesh.
  4. Vandana Meena IAS (Gujarat 2022), holds degree in B. Sc. and recently concluded her District training as Supernumerary Assistant Collector – Modasa, Arvalli, Gujrat.

Starting from May 20, 2024, till July 12, 2024, for a period of eight weeks, the Officer Trainees will be actively participating in the day-to-day operations in their assigned duties. This period marks a critical step in their careers, offering firsthand experience in governance and policy implementation at the highest levels of the Indian bureaucracy.
