Five IAS Trainees posted as Asst Secretary in the Ministry of Power

IndianBureaucracy, New Delhi – Five 2022 Batch of IAS Officer Trainees have recently been assigned as Assistant Secretaries in the Ministry of Power, Government of India.

After successfully completing their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, these Officer Trainees are designated as Assistant Secretaries across various Central Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

The Trainee Officers are:

  1. Dr Deepak Kumar IAS (Tripura 2022), holds a degree in M.B.B.S. and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Collector in the Ofice of DM & Collector – Sepahijale District, Bishramganj, Tripura.
  2. Mohd Shabir IAS (AGMUT 2022), holds a degree in B. Sc. and recently concluded his District training as Attached with Deputy Commissioner – Changlong, Arunachal Pradesh.
  3. Suvigya S Chandra IAS (AGMUT 2022), holds a degree in B. Tech. and recently concluded his District training at Andaman & Nicobar Islands
  4. V Sanjana Simha IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2022), holds a degree in B. Tech. and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Collector – Nellore District , Andhra Pradesh.
  5. Vidyamari Sridhar IAS (Manipur 2022), holds a degree in B. E. and recently concluded his District training at Manipur.

Starting from May 20, 2024, till July 12, 2024, for a period of eight weeks, the Officer Trainees will be actively participating in the day-to-day operations in their assigned duties. This period marks a critical step in their careers, offering first hand experience in governance and policy implementation at the highest levels of the Indian bureaucracy.
