Five IAS Trainees posted as Asst Secretary in Agriculture & Farmers Welfare

IndianBureaucracy, New Delhi – Five members of the 2022 Batch of IAS Officer Trainees have recently been assigned as Assistant Secretaries within the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare at the central level.

Upon the successful conclusion of their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, these Officer Trainees are designated as Assistant Secretaries across various Central Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

The Trainee Officers are:

  1. Arugula Sneha IAS (Odisha 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech and recently concluded her District Training in Sambalpur, Odisha.
  2. Kiranmayi Koppisetty IAS (Telangana 2022), she is a MBBS and MS in General Surgery and recently concluded her District Training as Assistant Collector – Nizamabad, Telengana.
  3. Preetam Kumar IAS (Rajasthan 2022), is a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, and recently concluded his District Training as Assistant Collector – Hanumangarh, Rajasthan.
  4. Ravi Kumar Sihag IAS (MP 2022), holds degree in BA, he recently concluded his District Training as Assistant Collector – Mandla, Madhya Pradesh.
  5. Vishal Dhakad IAS (MP 2022), is M.A. in Political Science, he recently completed his District Training as Assistant Collector  –  Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.

Starting from May 20, 2024, till July 12, 2024, for a period of eight weeks, the Officer Trainees will be actively participating in the day-to-day operations in their assigned duties. This period marks a critical step in their careers, offering firsthand experience in governance and policy implementation at the highest levels of the Indian bureaucracy.
