The CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NIScPR) organized an event on “Science Communication: Public Engagement with Science” in New Delhi as part of its ongoing “One Week One Lab (OWOL) program”. Chief Guest Dr. Santosh Choubey, Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal, delivered an address during the inaugural session. The event highlighted the importance of science communication in engaging the public and connecting science with society and art.
During the event, several books and magazines on popular science in Indian languages were released. The initiative aims to popularize and communicate science effectively, bridging the gap between science and the public. The event also included panel discussions and a poetry session, showcasing the integration of science and literature as a means to communicate science to society.
