Indian Bureaucracy, Delhi, February 27, 2025| The Delhi government has ordered  appointment of five AGMUT cadre IAS officers to various roles, including three officers in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) – two as Secretaries and one as Special Secretary. Additionally, the government has approved the transfer of two IAS officers, including senior bureaucrat Madhu Rani Teotia, from central deputation to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD).

Senior bureaucrat Shri Azimul Haque has been appointed as the full-time CEO of the Delhi Waqf Board, a highly sensitive position, which he previously held as an additional charge.

The detailed list of officers and their new assignments is provided below.

  1. Shri Azimul Haque IAS (AGMUT 2007), presently Member Administration, Delhi Jal Board (DJB), with additional charge of CEO – Delhi Waqf Board, is now appointed as CEO – Delhi Waqf Board.
  2. Dr Madhu Rani Teotia IAS (AGMUT 2007), upon transfer to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) from her current central deputation as Additional CEO, Health & Family Welfare, National Health Authority, New Delhi, is appointed as Secretary to the Delhi Chief Minister, Smt Rekha Gupta.
  3. Shri Sandeep Kumar Singh IAS (AGMUT 2011), upon transfer to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) from his current central deputation as PS To Minister of Culture, is appointed as Secretary to Delhi Chief Minister, Smt Rekha Gupta.
  4. Shri Ravi Jha IAS (AGMUT 2011), presently in cadre and posted as Commissioner – Excise, Delhi, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary to Delhi Chief Minister, Smt Rekha Gupta.
  5. Shri Sachin Rana IAS (AGMUT 2014), presently in cadre and posted as Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Delhi, is given additional charge of Member Admin – Delhi Jal Board (DJB).

SJVN successfully organized 24th Inter-CPSU Cricket Tournament

Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN presided over the Closing Ceremony of 24th Inter-CPSU Cricket Tournament at Chandigarh. SJVN successfully organized the tournament under the aegis of Power Sports Control Board from 22nd Feb to 27th Feb 2025.

Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma awarded Trophies, Medals and Certificates to Winning Teams. Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Sharma said that such events not only provide an opportunity to enhance sporting skills but also provide a platform to interact, make new friends and explore new places. He further congratulated the winners and appreciated all the teams for exhibiting sportsmanship. He also appreciated the efforts of Team SJVN involved in successfully organizing the event.

The final match of the tournament was played between POWERGRID and NHPC. Due to inclement weather, the match was called off and both POWERGRID and NHPC were declared joint winners of the tournament. Best Batsman of the Tournament trophy was awarded to Sh. Jason J. Lamare from NEEPCO, Best Bowler of the Tournament was conferred to Sh. Abhishek Yadav from NHPC And Player of the Tournament trophy was awarded to Sh. Sandeep Malhotra from Grid Controller of India. The second Runners up trophy was clinched by DVC.

In the tournament, thirteen teams from Ministry of Power (MoP), Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB), Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), Grid Controller of India, North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO), NHPC, Power Finance Corporation (PFC), Power Grid Corporation of India, Rural Electrification Corporation (REC), THDC India and SJVN participated.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and support from employees and sports enthusiasts, making it a memorable celebration of cricket and corporate sportsmanship. The tournament served as a platform for fostering stronger bonds among CPSUs while promoting a culture of sports within the corporate sector.

Presently Karur Vysya Bank has touch points in the form of 877 branches and 2200+ ATMs & cash recyclers. The Bank continues to grow with its strong financials. The bank’s total business was Rs. 1,81,993 crores as on 31.12.2024 with a deposit base of Rs. 99,155 cr. and advances at Rs. 82,838 cr. The bank had posted its highest ever net profit of Rs. 1,605 cr. during the last financial year. The Net Profit for the nine months of the current fiscal was Rs. 1,428 crores. Net NPA of the Bank was 0.20%.
