Smt Kiran Kaushal IAS (Chhattisgarh 2009), presently Commissioner, Medical Education, is transferred and appointed as MD – MARKFED with additional charge of MD – Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation.

Smt. Kiran Kaushal an experienced and versatile officer appointed as the Managing Director of MARKFED (Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Marketing Federation). In this new position, she returns to a role she previously held with distinction, reflecting the government’s continued trust in her leadership and administrative acumen.

Over the course of her distinguished career, Smt. Kaushal has held numerous key assignments across diverse domains including medical education, food and civil supplies, housing, smart city development, and district administration. Her earlier tenure as Managing Director of MARKFED from June 2021 to September 2022 saw significant strides in cooperative marketing and food storage, and her reappointment is expected to bring continuity and strategic depth to the organization’s functioning.

Smt. Kaushal has also played a central role in shaping the urban development landscape of Chhattisgarh through her dual assignments as CEO of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran (NRANVP) and MD of the Smart City Corporation, where she spearheaded sustainable and citizen-centric infrastructure initiatives.

Her extensive experience as District Collector across several districts—including Korba, Balod, Sarguja, and Mungeli—further highlights her grounding in grassroots administration and governance. Shri Nand Kumarum IAS is a distinguished officer known for his visionary leadership and progressive approach in the field of digital governance and public administration. A graduate of the Indian School of Mines (ISM), he holds a B.Tech. in Petroleum Engineering, having passed with First Class and Distinction.

He began his administrative career in 2008 after completing training and undertook diverse assignments across governance domains. His early postings included roles such as SDO in Sagar and Assistant Collector in Jabalpur, where he showcased his administrative acumen. As CEO of Zila Panchayats in Sagar and Singrauli and later as District Collector of Anuppur and Neemuch, Shri Kumarum played a pivotal role in strengthening grassroots governance and rural development.

Transitioning into sectoral leadership, he held prominent roles in the energy sector as Managing Director of MP Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Ltd (Indore) and later the MP State Electricity Board (Jabalpur), where his work significantly enhanced operational efficiency. His aptitude in public policy and planning was evident during his tenure as Project Director for the Water Resources Department (World Bank-supported projects).

Shri Kumarum’s strategic foresight came to the fore during his tenure in the Civil Aviation Department and the Chief Minister’s Office, where he contributed to transport and personnel administration reforms. He held crucial leadership roles such as MD & CEO of MP State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd and Department of Information Technology & Communication in Bhopal, steering digital initiatives across the state.

In July 2022, he was appointed as Director at LBSNAA, Mussoorie—a testament to his commitment to capacity building and institutional excellence. His appointment as President & CEO of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) in August 2024 marked a significant milestone in his career, where he is currently leading India’s digital transformation initiatives with remarkable vision.

Recognizing his outstanding contributions, Shri Kumarum was recently entrusted with the additional charge of CEO, MyGov, and MD/CEO, Digital India Corporation. Shri Pandey served as Joint Secretary & Financial Adviser (JS&FA) in the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment from April 2019 to March 2024. During his tenure, he was entrusted with additional responsibilities as Financial Adviser to multiple ministries, including the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Law and Justice, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers—underscoring the Government’s confidence in his financial acumen and administrative leadership.

His career spans impactful assignments across numerous ministries such as Finance, Environment, Electronics & IT, Renewable Energy, Culture, HRD, Civil Aviation, Road Transport & Highways, Shipping, and more. As Director in the 14th Finance Commission, he made significant contributions to the Commission’s final report, including the State Profiles of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Kerala, Odisha, and Goa.

Internationally, he served in the United Nations Mission of Support in East Timor (UNMISET) and the United Nations Office in Timor-Leste (UNOTIL) as a Financial Consultant, contributing to post-conflict governance and capacity building.

As JS&FA, Ministry of Culture, he was appointed a member of the Prime Minister’s Committee for organizing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, and was closely involved with the development of the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya Museum. He also served on the governing boards of several important bodies including ITDC, ALIMCO, IITTM, NSFDC, NBCFDC, NDFDC, NSTFDC, and TRIFED.

Additionally, he has served on the governing bodies of cultural and environmental institutions such as Lalit Kala Akademi, Sangeet Natak Akademi, Sahitya Akademi, National School of Drama, National Museum, Central Pollution Control Board, Wildlife Institute of India, National Tiger Conservation Authority, and Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, among others.

In 2024, he was appointed as the Central Nodal Officer for two districts in Assam under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, demonstrating his hands-on leadership in field-level governance and outreach.

With his induction into PFRDA, Shri Sanjay Pandey brings unmatched experience in public finance, fund governance, and regulatory oversight, making him an invaluable asset to India’s evolving pension ecosystem. His term will continue until the age of 62 .

Shri Bhuwan Chandra Pathak presently CMD- NPCIL has been given extension of additional charge as Director (Finance) (JS level), Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), for a period of six months w.e.f. 17.02.2025 .

Shri Bhuwan Chandra Pathak, currently serving as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) , a Mechanical Engineering graduate began his illustrious career in 1986 and has since become recognized as a Distinguished Scientist within the Department of Atomic Energy. With over three decades of extensive experience in the implementation of nuclear power projects across India, he has contributed to the successful execution of plants ranging from 220 MWe to 1000 MWe, including both Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR) and Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) technologies.

Throughout his career, he has held several key leadership roles such as Chief Construction Engineer, Project Director, Executive Director (Projects), and subsequently, Director (Projects) on NPCIL’s Board since July 2019. Known for his diligence and enterprising spirit, Shri Pathak has consistently demonstrated an ability to set benchmarks for excellence in project execution and organizational leadership. He assumed charge as CMD of NPCIL on 23rd February 2022 and has since championed a governance philosophy centered on progress, diversification, and strategic alliances, steering NPCIL toward greater heights.

Deeply committed to nurturing a strong safety culture within the NPCIL fleet, he is also a strong advocate for community development through Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. Looking ahead, Shri Pathak remains optimistic and resolute in his vision to contribute to India’s ambitious nuclear energy expansion programme, playing a pivotal role in the nation’s journey toward energy self-reliance.
