Dr. Priyanka Shukla holds a B.Sc. in Zoology from Ch. Charan Singh University, Hardwar, where she graduated with First Division, and an M.B.B.S. from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, also with First Division.
Dr. Shukla’s career spans various administrative roles in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). She began as an Assistant Collector in Kabeerdham from May 2010 to August 2011, working in Land Revenue Management and District Administration. She then served as a Sub Divisional Officer in Mahasamund from August 2011 to July 2012, further gaining experience in sub-divisional administration. In 2012, she moved to the role of Chief Executive Officer at the Zila Panchayat, Rajnandgaon, first in a Junior Scale role and later as an Under Secretary from January 2013 to March 2016, where she was involved in Local Self Government and Panchayati Raj. She was appointed as District Collector in Jashpur from March 2016 to December 2018, where she continued her work in district administration and land revenue management.
Dr. Shukla’s next major role was as Joint Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department in Raipur, from December 2018 to August 2021. She then served as Director, Deputy Secretary in Ayush, Health & Family Welfare, from August 2021 to June 2022, before taking up her current position as District Collector in Kanker from June 2022. Throughout her career, Dr. Shukla has made significant contributions to governance, particularly in the fields of health services, revenue administration, and local governance.
