IndianBureaucracy, New Delhi – Five 2022 Batch of IAS Officer Trainees have recently been assigned as Assistant Secretaries in the

Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India.

After successfully completing their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, these Officer Trainees are designated as Assistant Secretaries across various Central Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

The Trainee Officers are:

  1. Kishan Kumar S IAS (Tamil Nadu 2022), holds a degree in B.E. (Civil Engg) and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Collector – Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu.
  2. Manish Kumar IAS (Assam-Meghalaya 2022), holds a degree in B.E. and recently concluded his District training as Assistant Commissioner – Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh, Meghalaya.
  3. Mukul Jain IAS (Karnataka 2022), holds a degree in B. Tech. (Civil Engg) and recently concluded his District training program at Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka.
  4. Neha Byadwal IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2022), holds a degree in M.Sc. and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Collector – Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh.
  5. Shivani Jerngal IAS (Assam-Meghalaya 2022), holds a degree in B.Tech (Electronics & Telecom Engg) and recently concluded her District training as Assistant Commissioner – Dibrugarh, Assam.

Starting from May 20, 2024, till July 12, 2024, for a period of eight weeks, the Officer Trainees will be actively participating in the day-to-day operations in their assigned duties. This period marks a critical step in their careers, offering first hand experience in governance and policy implementation at the highest levels of the Indian bureaucracy.
