Shri Mukesh Kumar, an IPS officer from the Uttarakhand cadre of 2011, who was previously serving as the Assistant Inspector General of Police- PAC and Police Officer, SCIRB/CCTNS, has been promoted and posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police- PAC, Uttarakhand. This transition marks a significant elevation in his responsibilities, reflecting his contributions and expertise in policing and administrative affairs.
Similarly, Shri Dheeraj Singh Gunjyal, also an IPS officer from the 2011 Uttarakhand cadre, has been transferred from his role as Assistant Inspector General of Police- Prisons and has been posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Administration & Legal Affairs, Uttarakhand. This new assignment places him in a crucial administrative role, where his experience will be instrumental in streamlining legal affairs and maintaining law and order.
Another key transfer involves Smt. Rekha Juyal, an IPS officer from the Uttarakhand cadre of 2015, who was previously stationed at the Police Headquarters. She has now been assigned the role of Superintendent of Police- Vigilance Establishment, Uttarakhand. Ms. Duggi Mittalashri Tomar, another IPS officer from the Uttarakhand cadre of 2021, has also been promoted. Previously serving as Additional Superintendent of Police, Crime/Traffic, Udham Singh Nagar, she has now been appointed as Superintendent of Police- Crime/Traffic, Udham Singh Nagar.
