Born on 15.07.1972 to Thiru A.T.Chinnasamy and Tmt.C.Thilagam. He did his schooling upto 10th standard in Panchayat Union Elementary School and Vallal Pari High School [now Higher Secondary School] at Piranmalai, Sivagangai District. Thereafter, settled in Coimbatore. Had his higher secondary education at K.Krishnasamy Naidu Memorial Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore. Graduated in B.Sc (Mathematics) at Government Arts College, Coimbatore. Did B.L. in Government Law College, Coimbatore. Joined the office of (late) Mr. D. Kothandaramasamy, a Doyen of Coimbatore Bar. Practised before the District Court, Coimbatore for a period of 15 years, mainly on the Civil side.
Appeared for Public Sector Undertakings such as Cotton Corporation of India and Steel Authority of India, besides prominent Corporate Entities and Industries. Joined the Judicial Service in the year 2011 as a District Judge, through direct recruitment, and served in Thoothukudi and Madurai Districts. Also served in the Registry of Madras High Court as the Registrar (IT-cum- Statistics) and Registrar General. Before elevation, served as the Presiding Officer, Principal Labour Court, Chennai.
