Indian Bureaucracy, Jammu, April 01, 2025| Breaking News | In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has transferred forty-eight (48) JKAS officers. The reshuffle includes, posting of sixteen (16) Additional Deputy Commissioners, twenty-three (23) Sub-Divisional Magistrates, and nine (9) Assistant Commissioners of Revenue. The majority of postings are at the district and sub-divisional levels and is spread across both the Jammu and Kashmir divisions.

Geographically, the new postings cover an extensive area, with officers placed in vital locations throughout the Union Territory (UT). In the Jammu Division, postings include key districts such as Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Reasi, Doda, Ramban, Poonch, Rajouri, and Udhampur, among others. Similarly, in the Kashmir Division, officers have been assigned to Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Shopian, Kulgam, and Bandipora. This wide distribution of personnel underscores the government’s effort to ensure effective administration across the entire region.

Details of the Officers and their new designation and place of posting is detailed below.
