BJP leader Biplab Kumar Deb will be sworn in as the Tripura’s Chief Minister today. Governor Tathagata Roy will administer the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Deb and his council of ministers at a ceremony, to be held at Assam Rifles ground in Agartala. Also, Jishnu Debburman will take oath as Deputy Chief Minister.
The ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah, other union Ministers and chief ministers of several BJP ruled states and other senior BJP leaders. Our correspondent reports that the function will start at 12 noon.
