Indian Bureaucracy, New Delhi, June 25, 2025 | The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has selected Shri Bhaskar Barua as the new Managing Director of the North Eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation Limited (NERAMAC), a Schedule C Public Sector Enterprise. The decision was made during a selection meeting held at 11:30 a.m. today, following interviews with four candidates.
Shri Barua, currently Deputy General Manager at Numaligarh Refinery Limited’s Siliguri Marketing Terminal, was chosen over other contenders, including Malay Mandal (Additional General Manager, MSTC Limited), Keshari Nandan (General Manager, Steel Authority of India Limited), and Dipak Tryambak Patil (Deputy General Manager, Ratnagiri Gas & Power Pvt. Limited). His is expected to steer further NERAMAC’s mission, i.e. to promote agricultural marketing and development in India’s northeastern region.
