Shri Amit Garg IPS (Andhra Pradesh 1993), currently Additional Director of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) in Hyderabad, has been granted an extension of his additional charge as Director of SVPNPA for three more months, until August 31, 2024. This extension, ordered by the Ministry of Home Affairs, follows his tenure that was set to end on May 31, 2024.
