All India Nau Sainik Camp 2023 concludes at INS Shivaji, Lonavala

The All India Nau Sainik Camp 2023 (AINSC 2023) has drawn to a close at the iconic naval base INS Shivaji, Lonavala, marking the culmination of a 10-day annual competition that brought together the finest young cadets from 17 Directorates across India. Organized under the aegis of the Maharashtra Directorate of NCC, AINSC 2023 witnessed an array of competitive events that not only showcased the remarkable talents of the participating cadets but also fostered a spirit of camaraderie and national pride.

Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh, AVSM, VSM, Director General of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), expressed his admiration, stating, “We take immense pride in the accomplishments of the cadets during AINSC 2023 at INS Shivaji. This event not only highlights the extraordinary abilities of our young cadets but also strengthens the bonds of camaraderie among all participants. The unwavering support and resources extended by the Headquarters, Southern Naval Command, and INS Shivaji for this camp exemplify their resolute commitment to the cause of nation-building.”

The competitions featured a diverse array of activities that challenged cadets both physically and mentally, comprising a range of contests, exercises, and workshops designed to enhance their leadership skills. Maharashtra Directorate emerged victorious this year, securing the top position, with the Directorate of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana being recognized as the Runners Up. The event at INS Shivaji has not only showcased the dedication and determination of these young cadets but has also underscored their pivotal role in building a brighter future for India.
