Mrs Ajeeta Longjam IFS (Manipur 2012) appointed as Associate Professor- Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA), Dehradun under the Central Staffing Scheme of the Ministry of Environment.
Mrs Ajeeta Longjam did her schooling from Little Flower School, Imphal and KV No.2 Langjing, Imphal. Further, she completed her graduation in Zoology (Honours) from Miranda House, Delhi University and her name was listed in the Miranda House Annual Roll of Honour (2007-08). She then obtained her Masters in Zoology from Delhi University after which she qualified for CSIR-UGC NET with JRF, twice.
She is a gold medalist from the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun and is also the recipient of the ‘Spirit of 1982’ for exhibiting Best Communication Skills from the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun Forest and Climate Change w.e.f. 10.10.2024 for a period up to 10.08.2027 .
