Under its scheme of Corporate Social Responsibility – Sustainable Development, NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company in association with Urban, PHC, Mewla Maharajpur, Health Department, Faridabad and Asian Hospital, Faridabad, organized a free medical camp at Government Primary School, Leprosy Colony (Gandhi Colony), Faridabad on 30th March 2017. The camp was inaugurated by Shri Balraj Joshi, Director (Technical), NHPC in the presence of Shri K.D. Sah, Executive Director (Human Resource), NHPC and officials from Medical and CSR Divisions of NHPC. The camp was highly successful with over 700 persons from Leprosy Colony (Gandhi Colony), Faridabad and the surrounding areas availing the benefits of the camp. During the camp free medical consultation was given by specialist doctors in gynecology, pediatrics, eye, orthopedics, cardiology and internal medicine and free medicines were also distributed.
