NHPC- First unit of (4×200 MW) Parbati HE Project , Stage-II, located in District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh has been successfully spun at 15.00 Hours on 31.03.2017. Further tests of the unit are in progress. The water of Jiwa Nallah has been diverted into main Head Race Tunnel through Drop Shaft for this task. Subsequently, spinning/testing of other Units are also to be achieved in a similar manner.
