Smt Renu Sogan IAS (Haryana 2019), presently Additional Secretary, Haryana Citizen Resources lnformation Department (cRrD), with additional charge of Additional Secretary, Grievances Department, Haryana, given additional charge of Nodal Officer – Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS), PG Portal, relieving Shri Rajiv Rattan IAS (Haryana 2008).

CPGRAMS is India’s 24×7 Grievance Redressal Portal for Citizens

The Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) is the Government of India’s unified digital platform for citizens to lodge complaints against public service delivery. Available 24×7, it enables people to raise grievances directly with central ministries, departments, and state governments via a single portal. CPGRAMS is accessible both through its web interface and via mobile applications on the Google Play Store and UMANG app.

Each grievance registered on CPGRAMS is assigned a unique ID for tracking, ensuring transparency and accountability. If dissatisfied with the resolution, users can rate the response; a “Poor” rating activates the option to file an appeal. The appeal’s progress can also be monitored using the original registration number.

However, CPGRAMS does not entertain grievances related to RTI queries, court or sub judice matters, religious issues, or government employee service complaints unless all prescribed channels have been exhausted.

Importantly, the platform is free of cost—the government charges no fee for grievance submission. Any payment made is solely to Common Service Centres (CSC) for facilitation services.

For unresolved issues under the Cabinet Secretariat’s purview, citizens can seek further help from the Directorate of Public Grievances (DPG) for resolution.

IndianBureaucracy.com wishes Smt Renu Sogan the very best.
