23 IAS Officers Transferred in Delhi Government Reshuffle | AGMUT Cadre 2025

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) has appointed 23 IAS officers of the AGMUT cadre to new key positions across various departments. This administrative overhaul aims to streamline governance, strengthen public service delivery, and ensure optimal utilization of experienced officers in critical areas such as education, transport, revenue, power, women and child development, and urban management.

Notable changes include the appointment of Ms. Dilraj Kaur as Principal Secretary (GAD) with additional responsibilities in social welfare departments, and Ms. Nandini Paliwal as Commissioner (Trade & Taxes). Shri Neeraj Semwal has been retained as Secretary (Revenue)-cum-Divisional Commissioner with the added charge of Secretary (Land & Building), while Shri Pandurang K Pole has taken over as Secretary (Higher Education & TTE). Several officers who were recently inducted or awaiting posting have now been assigned significant roles across GNCTD departments and agencies.

This reshuffle reflects the government’s continued focus on efficient administration and improved policy implementation by leveraging the diverse experience and expertise of its civil servants. The new appointments are expected to boost departmental coordination and policy execution across Delhi’s governance landscape.

2. Ms. Nandini Paliwal IAS (AGMUT 2003), Secretary (Higher Education & TTE) and MD (DCHFC), is now appointed as Commissioner (Trade & Taxes), GNCTD.
3. Shri Neeraj Semwal IAS (AGMUT 2003), Secretary (Revenue)-cum-Divisional Commissioner and Secretary (Information & Publicity), is now appointed as Secretary (Revenue)-cum-Divisional Commissioner with additional charge of Secretary (Land & Building), GNCTD.
4. Shri Pandurang K Pole IAS (AGMUT 2004) awaiting posting, is now appointed as Secretary (Higher Education & TTE), GNCTD.
5. Ms. Niharika Rai IAS (AGMUT 2005), Secretary-cum-Commissioner (Transport), Secretary (Tourism), and MD/CEO – DTTDC, is now appointed as Chairman – DTC, GNCTD, in additional charge.
6. Ms. Rashmi Singh IAS (AGMUT 2007) awaiting posting, is now appointed as Secretary (WCD) with additional charges of Chairperson – DCW and Secretary – A&CL, GNCTD.
7. Shri Krishan Kumar IAS (AGMUT 2010), Special Secretary (PWD), is now appointed as CEO (Disaster Management), Revenue Department, GNCTD.
8. Shri Ravi Dhawan IAS (AGMUT 2011) Special Secretary (Power) and Member (Admn.), DJB, is now appointed as Member (Admn.), DJB, GNCTD.
9. Shri Sanjeev Kumar Mittal IAS (AGMUT 2011) Deputy Commissioner (HQ), Revenue Department, is now appointed as Director (Agricultural Marketing), GNCTD, in additional charge.
10. Shri B S Jaglan IAS (AGMUT 2011) ED (DSIIDC) and Special Commissioner (Industries), is now appointed as Member (Finance), DJB, GNCTD.
11. Shri Prince Dhawan IAS (AGMUT 2012) awaiting posting, is now appointed as MD (DTC) with additional charge of Special Commissioner (Transport), GNCTD.
12. Shri Krishna Kumar Singh IAS (AGMUT 2012) awaiting posting, is now appointed as Registrar of Cooperative Societies with additional charge of MD (DCHFC), GNCTD.
13. Ms. Tapasya Raghav IAS (AGMUT 2013), Member (Finance), DJB, Special Secretary (H&FW), and Project Director (CATS), is now appointed as Special Secretary (H&FW) with additional charge of Project Director (CATS), GNCTD.
14. Shri Eda Raja Babu IAS (AGMUT 2014) recently inducted into IAS and awaiting posting, is now appointed as Additional CEO (DJB), GNCTD.
15. Shri Ravi Dadhich IAS (AGMUT 2014) awaiting posting, is now appointed as Special Secretary (Power) with additional charges of MD (IPGCL) and MD (PPCL), GNCTD.
16. Ms. Soumya Saurabh IAS (AGMUT 2014) awaiting posting, is now appointed as Deputy Commissioner (North-West), Revenue Department, GNCTD.
17. Ms. Ankita Anand IAS (AGMUT 2015) Deputy Commissioner (North-West), Revenue Department, is now appointed as Special Secretary (WCD), GNCTD.
18. Shri Mekala Chaitanya Prasad IAS (AGMUT 2015) Deputy Commissioner (South), Revenue Department, is now appointed as Deputy Commissioner (South-West), Revenue Department, GNCTD.
19. Dr. Anil Agarwal IAS (AGMUT 2015) awaiting posting, is now appointed as Principal Director (Forensic Laboratory), GNCTD.
20. Shri Talo Potom IAS (AGMUT 2016) awaiting posting, is now appointed as Special Secretary (PWD), GNCTD.
