Indian Bureaucracy, Lucknow, May 06, 2025 | Amidst ongoing administrative changes in the state, the UP government has notified a further transfer of 8 IPS officers. These latest moves primarily affect senior positions within the Police Headquarters in Lucknow, impacting departments such as Administration, the Economic Offences Wing, and Technical Services. The reshuffle also includes new appointments at Police training facilities. Notably, Rajeev Narain Mishra takes on the role of ACP for GB Nagar, while Upendra Kumar Agarwal is appointed IG Lucknow Range. For your reference, a detailed list of officers, with their current and new assignments and postings, is provided below.

Lucknow 

  1. Smt Neera Rawat IPS (Uttar Pradesh 1992), presently Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), UP-112, Lucknow, with additional charge of ADGP Administration, is relieved of additional charge of ADGP Administration. She will continue to hold the post of ADGP – UP-112, UP Police.
  2. Shri Prashant Kumar IPS (Prashant Kumar-II Uttar Pradesh 2000), presently ADGP, posted as Inspector General (IG), Lucknow Range, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as ADGP – Administration, Headquarters, Lucknow, UP Police.
  3. Shri Katarpu Sunil Emmanuel IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2003), upon return from Central Deputation where he was posted with CISF and presently awaiting posting, is transferred and appointed IG – Economic Offences Wing, Headquarters, Lucknow, UP Police.
  4. Shri Upendra Kumar Agarwal IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2005), presently IG, Security, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed IG – Lucknow Range, UP Police.
  5. Shri Shivhari Meena IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2010), presently ACP, Police Commissionerate, Gautam Budh Nagar, is transferred and appointed DIG – Technical Services, Headquarters, Lucknow, UP Police.

Gautam Budh Nagar

  1. Shri Rajeev Narain Mishra IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2010), presently DIG, Police Commissionerate, Prayagraj, is transferred and appointed Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP) – Police Commissionerate, Gautam Budh Nagar, UP Police.

Police Training School

  1. Shri Rohan P Kanay IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2009), presently Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Technical Services, Headquarters, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as DIG – Police Training School (PTS), Gorakhpur, UP Police.
  2. Shri Satendra Kumar IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2010), upon return from Central Deputation where he was posted with NCRB and presently awaiting posting, is transferred and appointed DIG – Police Training School (PTS), Meerut, UP Police.
