Major Administrative Reshuffle in Himachal Pradesh – 17 IAS Officers Transferred

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Government of Himachal Pradesh has issued transfer and posting orders for 17 IAS officers across various departments and districts. The reshuffle includes changes at key positions such as Deputy Commissioners, Directors, Managing Directors, and other senior administrative roles. Officers of batches ranging from 2014 to 2021 have been affected by this move, aimed at streamlining governance and enhancing administrative efficiency in the state.

Below is the detailed list of IAS officers and their new postings:

  1. Dr. Nipun Jindal IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2014) presently Director, Ayush, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla who is holding the additional charge of the posts of Director, Digital Technologies and Governance, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla and Managing Director, HRTC, Shimla shall henceforth function as Director, Digital Technologies and Governance, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla. He will continue to hold the additional charge of the post of Managing Director, HRTC, Shimla.
  2. Shri Abid Hussain Sadiq IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2014) presently Deputy Commissioner, District Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh as Managing Director, Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd., Shimla, relieving Shri Rakesh Kumar Prajapati IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2012) presently of this additional charge.
  3. Shri Rohit Jamwal IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2014) presently Director, Public Finance & Public Enterprises-cum-Special Secretary (Finance) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla who is holding the additional charge of the posts of Director, Treasuries, Accounts & Lotteries, HP, Shimla, Managing Director, HP Financial Corp., Shimla as Director, Ayush, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.
  4. Shri Pradeep Kumar Thakur IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2014) presently Settlement Officer, Shimla Division, Shimla as Mission Director, National Health Mission, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.
  5. Ms. Priyanka Verma IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2015) presently Mission Director, National Health Mission, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla as Deputy Commissioner, District Sirmaur at Nahan, Himachal Pradesh.
  6. Ms. Rima Kashyap IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2015) presently Managing Director, H.P. Agro Industries Corporation Ltd., Shimla who is holding the additional charge of the post of Managing Director, H.P. Agro Industrial Packaging India Ltd., Shimla as Director, Language Art and Culture, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla and Secretary, H.P. Academy of Art Culture & Language, Shimla.
  7. Shri Sumit Khimta IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2015) presently Deputy Commissioner, District Sirmaur at Nahan, Himachal Pradesh as Director, Department of Empowerment of SCs, OBCs, Minorities and Specially Abled, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.
  8. Shri Rahul Kumar IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2016) presently Deputy Commissioner, District Lahaul & Spiti at Keylong, Himachal Pradesh as Deputy Commissioner, District Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
  9. Shri Zaffar Iqbal IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2017) presently Commissioner, Dharamshala Municipal Corporation, Dharamshala, District Kangra who is holding the additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer-cum-Managing Director, Dharamshala Smart City Ltd., Dharamshala as Managing Director, Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd., Dharamshala relieving Shri Aditya Negi IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2013) presently of this additional charge.
  10. Ms. Kiran Bhadana IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2016) presently Director, Department of Empowerment of SCs, OBCs, Minorities and Specially Abled, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla as Deputy Commissioner, District Lahaul & Spiti at Keylong, Himachal Pradesh.
  11. Dr. Pankaj Lalit IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2018) presently Director, Language, Art and Culture, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla who is holding the additional charge of the post of Secretary, H.P. Academy of Art, Culture & Language, Shimla and Director, Women & Child Development, HP, Shimla shall henceforth function as Director, Women and Child Development, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.
  12. Ms. Ritika IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2019) presently Director, Land Records, HP, Shimla as Commissioner, Dharamshala Municipal Corporation, Dharamshala, District Kangra. She will hold the additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer-cum-Managing Director, Dharamshala Smart City Ltd., Dharamshala.
  13. Shri Om Kant Thakur IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2020) presently Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Mandi, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev.)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
  14. Shri Abhishek Kumar Garg IAS (Himachal Pradesh 2020) presently Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Bilaspur, District Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev.)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. He will hold the additional charge of the post of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh.
