Indian Bureaucracy, New Delhi, February 04, 2025| The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC), under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, has promoted fourteen (14) of its IRS officers to their next higher position of Principal Director General, Chief Commissioner and Principal Commissioner against panel year 2025.
The list of promoted officers is listed below.
- Shri Raj Kumar IRS (C&IT 1990) and Shri Valte Vungzamuan IRS (C&IT 1990), to the positions of Principal Chief Commissioner or Principal Director General, Customs & Indirect Taxes, at Level 17 of the Pay Matrix (Apex Scale).
- Shri Amitabh Kumar IRS (C&IT 1992), Shri Anuj Gogia IRS (C&IT 1992), Shri Sunil Jain (C&IT 1992) and Shri Shaik Khader Rahman (C&IT 1992), to the grade of Chief Commissioner, Customs & Indirect Taxes, in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) in Level 16 of the Pay Matrix (HAG), on regular basis.
- Ms Kajal Singh IRS (C&IT 1992) and Shri Pradeep Saxena (C&IT 1992), to the grade of Chief Commissioner, Customs & Indirect Taxes, in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) in Level 16 of the Pay Matrix (HAG), on ad-hoc basis.
- Shri Utkaarsh R Tiwaari IRS (C&IT 1995), Shri Sanjay Bansal IRS (C&IT 1995), Shri Rajesh Kumar Mishra IRS (C&IT 1995), to the grade of Principal Commissioner, Customs & Indirect Taxes, in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) in Level 15 of the Pay Matrix (HAG), on regular basis.
- Shri Yashodhan Arvind Wanage IRS (C&IT 1995), Shri M G Thamizh Valavan IRS (C&IT 1995) and Shri Gyan Sarvar IRS (C&IT 1995), to the grade of Principal Commissioner, Customs & Indirect Taxes, in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) in Level 15 of the Pay Matrix (HAG), on ad-hoc basis.
