43 AGMUT IPS Officers Promoted to Junior Administrative Grade, MHA

Indian Bureaucracy, New Delhi, February 17, 2025| The Ministry of Home Affairs announced the promotion of 43 IPS officers from the AGMUT cadre, with the highest number of promotions among officers currently serving in Jammu and Kashmir. The following is the list of promoted officers along with their current postings.

1. Shri Tumme Amo IPS (AGMUT 2011), presently DIG, Arunachal Pradesh Police, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
2. Shri Apang Tamut IPS (AGMUT 2011), presently DIG, Arunachal Pradesh Police is, promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
3. Shri Maqsood-ul-Zarnan IPS (AGMUT 2011), presently, DIG – North Kashmir Range, Baramulla, J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
4. Shri Mubassir Latifi Ameer IPS (AGMUT 2011), presently, DIG – Personal, Police HQ, J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
5. Shri Shiv Kumar Sharma IPS (AGMUT 2011), presently, DIG – Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) Range, J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
6. Smt Rashmi Wazir IPS (AGMUT 2011), presently DIG – Security J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
7. Shri Rajeshwar Singh IPS (AGMUT 2011), presently DIG – State Investigation Agency (SIA), J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
8. Shri Sandeep Wazir IPS (AGMUT 2012), presently AIG – Personal, Police HQ, J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
9. Smt Anita Sharma IPS (AGMUT 2012), presently Commandant – IRP 1st Bn, J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
10. Shri Sameer Rekhi IPS (AGMUT 2012), presently SSP – Police Transport Workshop (PTWS), Jammu, J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
11. Shri Jatinder Singh Johar IPS (AGMUT 2012), presently AIG – Crime & Complaints PHQ, J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
12. Shri Swarm Singh Kotwal IPS (AGMUT 2012), presently Director – Special Security Force (SSF), J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
13. Shri Zahid Nasim Manhas IPS (AGMUT 2012), presently Commandant – SDRF 2nd Bn Jammu, J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
14. Shri Koshal Kumar Sharma IPS (AGMUT 2012), presently SSP – PCR Jammu, J&K, is promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix) of the Indian Police Service with immediate effect.
