Shri S Gopalakrishnan IAS (Tamil Nadu 1991) presently Director General- National Productivity Council, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade has been appointed as Chairman- Staff Selection Commission in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India vice Shri Rakesh Ranjan IAS (MN:92) upon his voluntary retirement from the service w.e.f. 31.10.2024 .
