Shri Chandan Sarma presently Commissioner & Special Secretary, Public Works (Roads) Department has been re-engaged as Special Commissioner & Special Secretary, Public Works (Roads) Department for a period of 1 (one) year after his superannuation on 31-08-2023.
The remuneration of the incumbent will be decided on the basis of last pay and allowances drawn as they have been at the time of superannuation minus pension. Other benefits like GPF, GIS and other additional allowances will not be admissible to the incumbent. Medical reimbursement will be allowed as per the rules of the Service before retirement.
